  Hi everyone! I had my softball game this morning, and I got there early to warm up. I’ve been practicing my throwing a lot, and I can tell I’m getting better—I can throw farther now! We played the Roadrunners, and guess what… we won 8 to 4! 🎉 I had a really good day hitting. I went 2 for 3, and both of my hits were doubles! The other time I hit the ball, it went right back to the pitcher. She grabbed it and ran to tag a runner going home instead of throwing me out at first, so I made it to first base. My grandpa told me that’s called a “fielder’s choice,” which is kind of a funny name! My first double was with the bases loaded, and I got 2 RBIs! The ball went all the way to the fence, but I had to stay at first because the runner in front of me stopped at second. Grandpa still says it counts as a double though 😄 My second double was also with the bases loaded, and I got 2 more RBIs! This time I got to score a run too, which was really fun!  Hi everyone! I had my softball game yesterday at 6:00, and the sky looked really cloudy like it might rain, but we still got to play! We played the Bobcats, and it was a super close game. We lost 6 to 5, but it was one of the funniest games I’ve played all year! I played shortstop, pitcher, and first base, and I think I did really good. All my practice is helping a lot! At bat, I went 3 for 3! I hit 2 singles and 1 double, got 2 RBIs, and scored 1 run. The funniest part of the game was when I hit a single and ran past first base by accident. Then I had to race the first baseman to second base! Everyone was laughing really loud, and I made it safe by just a tiny bit! We scored first and were winning 1 to 0, but then the Bobcats scored 5 runs. After that, our team came back and scored 4 runs to tie the game! Later, I came up to bat with the bases loaded and a full count (3 balls and 2 strikes). I hit the ball right up the middle for a double and brought in 2 runs! Then my team...

 Hi everyone! 😊⚾ Yesterday was our 4th game of the season and we played the Cardinals! It was really cold for a game day (it was only 58 degrees 🥶), but I was ready! I got there an hour early so I could practice batting and fielding. I felt really good in the batting cage and hit the ball hard! My dad was helping coach for the first time, and I loved practicing with him 💙 In the game I went 1 for 3 and got a single and an RBI! My team won 5 to 1, so now our record is 2 and 2! Now we are going on Easter break 🐣🌸 So far this season I am 6 for 9 with 4 doubles and 2 singles and I have 4 RBIs! I’m having so much fun and can’t wait for the next game! ⚾✨ Love, Bella

 Hi everyone! 😊 I had a game last Thursday against the Bears. We lost 4 to 2 but it was still fun! I went 1 for 2 and I hit a DOUBLE!!! It was the farthest I ever hit the ball! It went over second base and all the way to the fence in centerfield!! I was so excited!! I also made a really good play at third base. I got the ball and ran to the base and beat the runner!   Hi everyone! It's me, Bella, and this is my third blog post about softball! Today was super special because my team played against my OLD team! It was like a big reunion on the field. I got to see all my old teammates, and it made me so happy! I waved at them and they waved back. Some of them even yelled funny stuff at me. I played shortstop and third base. When I was at third base, my old friends were in the visitors' dugout and they kept teasing me. They said things like "Hey Bella, you abandoned us!" and laughed. It was playful razzing and it made me giggle. I yelled back "Sorry! But I'm having fun here too!" It was silly and nice to see them again. At shortstop, something cool happened. A batter hit a hard line drive grounder right at me. I fielded it super clean – glove down, scooped it up, no mistakes! I was so proud of my defense! Hi there, and welcome back to Bella’s Dugout Diaries ! Yesterday (Wednesday) was my very first game of this new season and it was so fun! My team is called The Saints this year. It's a whole new team, not the same one from last year. I didn't know any of my new teammates until our first practice last month. But now we're starting to be friends and play together good. We played yesterday and I got to hit two times and I got a hit both times! Both were doubles! Yay! I also got 3 RBI which means I helped three of my teammates score runs by hitting the ball super good. That made me, and my family, smile a lot. I played shortstop some and then first base too. Shortstop is fun because you get to catch ground balls and throw fast. First base is cool because you catch throws from everybody. My batting was really great (my daddy says I'm a good hitter!), but I need to practice my catching and fielding more. Sometimes the ball goes past me or I drop it, so I'm gonna work hard...
